Who is Dave Sugden?

Mr. Sugden is a trial lawyer. He is routinely brought into cases on the eve of trial. Mr. Sugden has served as lead counsel in jury trials in multiple states for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has received numerous seven- and eight-figure verdicts when representing plaintiffs, and obtained an even higher number of defense verdicts when representing defendants.

Mr. Sugden has received a variety of honors and awards. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) and has been recognized since 2020 as one of the “Top 50 Super Lawyers in Orange County.” Mr. Sugden was previously recognized by California’s Daily Journal as one of “California’s 20 Top Attorneys Under 40.” He's been recognized by "Best Lawyers" since 2021. Mr. Sugden was recognized as California's "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by The Trial Lawyers for 2023/2024.
